Files and Terminal
Use the Machine layer for authorized workspace files, shell commands, and process management.
The Machine layer handles local filesystem and terminal work inside the computer's authorized workspace boundaries.
Files
Noxgild can read, search, patch, write, copy, move, inspect, and delete files through curated capabilities with capability-specific policy and verification.
Terminal
Use bounded shell execution for commands that are expected to finish, such as builds, tests, and diagnostics.
Use managed processes for servers or other work that must stay alive so the process can be inspected, fed input, waited on, or terminated explicitly.
Safety
Destructive actions can require exact approval. Noxgild also avoids blindly replaying consequential work when the final side-effect state is uncertain.
