Cline
Connect Cline to Noxgild, verify protected tool access, and run a real task.
Let Cline reach the environment beyond the repo while keeping the AI model itself interchangeable.
Setup tutorial
1. Install Cline
- Install VS Code first if it is not already installed.
- Open the official Cline page and install the Cline extension for VS Code.
- Open Cline and configure the model provider you want to use.
2. Open Cline MCP settings
- Open Cline in VS Code.
- Choose Customize.
- Choose MCP.
3. Add a remote server
- Choose Add Remote Server.
- Choose Streamable HTTP.
- Use noxgild as the server name and paste the Noxgild URL.

- Complete the Noxgild browser authorization flow when Cline opens it.
- Return to VS Code and make sure the Noxgild server is enabled.
5. Start a fresh Cline task
- Open a new Cline task after authorization so the Noxgild tools load cleanly.
6. Verify the connection
- Paste the verification prompt below into the new Cline task.
Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.7. Confirm success
- Setup is complete when Cline returns your authorized Noxgild computer and its status.
- If tools still do not appear, reload the VS Code window and reopen Cline.

Good first tasks
- Use my QA computer to launch the application and verify this change.
- Run tests, keep the server alive, and inspect the signed-in browser result.
- Open the desktop app and verify the native workflow.
Troubleshooting
- If Noxgild does not appear after authorization, reload the VS Code window, reopen Cline, and start a fresh task.
- Your Cline model provider is separate from the Noxgild computer connection.
Connect a computer once
If you do not already have an authorized Windows, macOS, or Linux computer in Noxgild, run this in a terminal on that Windows, macOS, or Linux computer:
npx @noxgild/cli@latest connectAfter approval, the same computer can be reused from other supported AI clients.
