Connect Cursor to Noxgild, verify protected tool access, and run a real task.
Take Cursor beyond the codebase and into the real computer environment where the build, browser session, and desktop application live.
Setup tutorial
1. Download Cursor
- Open Cursor's official download page.
- Download and install Cursor Desktop for your operating system.
- Launch Cursor after installation.
2. Sign in and open a project
- Sign in to Cursor.
- Open the project you want Cursor to work with.
3. Open MCP settings
- Open Cursor Settings.
- Open Tools & MCP.
- Choose the option to add a new MCP server.
4. Add Noxgild
- Choose a remote/HTTP MCP server.
- Use noxgild as the server name.
- Paste the Noxgild MCP URL and save the server.

- Cursor opens the Noxgild browser authorization flow.
- Sign in to Noxgild and approve the connection.
- Return to Cursor and confirm the noxgild server is enabled.
6. Verify the connection
- Open Cursor Agent/Chat.
- Paste the verification prompt below and send it.
Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.7. Confirm success
- Setup is complete when Cursor returns your authorized Noxgild computer and its status.
- If an old connection is stuck, remove/reset the noxgild MCP entry, add the production URL again, and re-authorize.

Troubleshooting
- If Noxgild does not appear in Tools & MCP, restart Cursor and check the noxgild server entry.
- If authorization is stale, remove or reset the Noxgild server entry, add https://mcp.noxgild.com/mcp again, and authorize normally.
Connect a computer once
If you do not already have an authorized Windows, macOS, or Linux computer in Noxgild, run this in a terminal on that Windows, macOS, or Linux computer:
npx @noxgild/cli@latest connectAfter approval, the same computer can be reused from other supported AI clients.
