Noxgild
Getting Started

Connect Your First Computer

Use the Noxgild CLI to connect and approve a Windows, macOS, or Linux computer.

The Noxgild CLI is the public way to connect a computer.

Requirements

  • Windows, macOS, or Linux.
  • Node.js 22 or later.
  • Internet access to Noxgild.
  • A Noxgild account.

Run the connection command

Open a terminal (PowerShell, Windows Terminal, Terminal, or your preferred shell) and run:

npx @noxgild/cli@latest connect

The CLI detects the computer name, platform, and architecture and creates a short-lived connection request.

Approve in the browser

The CLI automatically tries to open a browser window for the approval request.

If the browser cannot open automatically, the terminal prints the verification URL so you can open it yourself.

Sign in to Noxgild if needed, review the computer requesting access, and approve it.

What happens next

After approval, the CLI receives a short-lived installation grant and installs the Noxgild runtime for that computer.

You do not need to manually copy:

  • a pairing token,
  • a package URL,
  • a cloud credential,
  • or a device private key.

The terminal waits for the approval and reports when the computer is connected.

If approval expires

The connection request is intentionally short-lived. If it expires, rerun the same CLI command to create a new request.

Verify the result

Open app.noxgild.com. The computer should appear under your account. If it does not become available, see Computer offline.
