Browser Trust Boundary

Understand why untrusted web content cannot silently authorize local Machine or Desktop actions.

Browser and remote content is untrusted.

A page can display instructions that were not written by you. Noxgild therefore does not treat page content as authority to control the local computer.

When browser-derived content attempts to cross into Machine or Desktop execution, Noxgild applies an additional policy boundary and can require exact per-command approval.

This boundary does not prevent normal browser interaction. It prevents untrusted web content from silently escalating into another execution surface.

See Browser-to-computer boundary.
