  • Install Devin Desktop and sign in.

4. Authorize Noxgild

  • Complete the Noxgild sign-in and authorization page that opens.
  • Return to Devin Desktop when authorization finishes.

5. Start an interactive session

  • Open an interactive Devin session for the first test.
  • Keep normal confirmation prompts enabled rather than using a noninteractive one-shot mode.

6. Verify the connection

  • Paste the verification prompt below into the interactive session.
Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.

7. Confirm success

  • Setup is complete when Devin returns your authorized Noxgild computer and its status.
  • The same connection can then be used for real computer, browser, and process tasks.

Before you start

  • Devin Desktop, Devin CLI, or your current Windsurf-family client with remote MCP support.

Verification prompt

Send this to your AI client after setup:

Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.

After authorization, send the verification prompt. You are connected when your authorized computer and its status appear.

Good first tasks

  • Use my QA computer to reproduce this issue and verify the fix.
  • Run the project, inspect process output, and verify the signed-in staging dashboard.
  • Open the installed desktop application and capture the final state.

Troubleshooting

  • If an older Windsurf configuration is detected, use the client's migration path or add Noxgild again as an HTTP MCP server.
  • Use an interactive session for the first connection so normal confirmation prompts can be handled.

Connect a computer once

If you do not already have an authorized Windows, macOS, or Linux computer in Noxgild, run this in a terminal on that Windows, macOS, or Linux computer:

npx @noxgild/cli@latest connect

After approval, the same computer can be reused from other supported AI clients.
