Connect Kiro to Noxgild

Start at step 1 if you are new. If the client is already installed and signed in, jump to the step where you add Noxgild.

Download Kiro

  • • Open kiro.dev and download the Kiro IDE.
  • • Install Kiro and sign in.
  • • Open a project and trust it if Kiro asks.

Enable MCP support

  • • Open Kiro Settings with Ctrl+, on Windows/Linux or Cmd+, on macOS.
  • • Search for MCP.
  • • Make sure MCP support is enabled.

Open the user MCP config

  • • Press Ctrl+Shift+P on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS.
  • • Run Kiro: Open user MCP config (JSON).
  • • Use user config so Noxgild is available across your Kiro workspaces.

Add Noxgild

  • • Add a noxgild entry under mcpServers using the remote URL below.
  • • Set disabled to false, save the file, and let Kiro reload the server.

Authorize Noxgild

  • • When Kiro opens the Noxgild authorization flow, sign in and approve the connection.
  • • Return to Kiro after authorization finishes.

Verify the connection

  • • Open Kiro chat and paste the verification prompt below.
Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.

Confirm success

  • • Setup is complete when Kiro returns your authorized Noxgild computer and its status.
  • • If tools do not appear, save the MCP config again or restart Kiro.

Having trouble?
