Connect Cursor to Noxgild

Start at step 1 if you are new. If the client is already installed and signed in, jump to the step where you add Noxgild.

Download Cursor

  • • Open Cursor's official download page.
  • • Download and install Cursor Desktop for your operating system.
  • • Launch Cursor after installation.

Sign in and open a project

  • • Sign in to Cursor.
  • • Open the project you want Cursor to work with.

Open MCP settings

  • • Open Cursor Settings.
  • • Open Tools & MCP.
  • • Choose the option to add a new MCP server.

Add Noxgild

  • • Choose a remote/HTTP MCP server.
  • • Use noxgild as the server name.
  • • Paste the Noxgild MCP URL and save the server.

Authorize Noxgild

  • • Cursor opens the Noxgild browser authorization flow.
  • • Sign in to Noxgild and approve the connection.
  • • Return to Cursor and confirm the noxgild server is enabled.

Verify the connection

  • • Open Cursor Agent/Chat.
  • • Paste the verification prompt below and send it.
Use the connected Noxgild MCP server only. Call noxgild_devices and list my available computers and their current status.

Confirm success

  • • Setup is complete when Cursor returns your authorized Noxgild computer and its status.
  • • If an old connection is stuck, remove/reset the noxgild MCP entry, add the production URL again, and re-authorize.

What success looks like

Your AI returns the authorized Noxgild computer and its current status. If the computer is ONLINE, the connection is ready for real work.

  • If authorization is stale, remove or reset the Noxgild server entry, add https://mcp.noxgild.com/mcp again, and authorize normally.
